It started in the garage…

#Project 2

Contemporary cloakroom transformation with a ‘marble-on-a-budget’ feature that delivers the WOW factor.

Before>

Planning solutions: Removing the existing radiators and ugly pipework added space and simplicity to this small area. Kraftwork started from scratch priming, waterproofing and insulating the substrates before fitting underfloor heating. A Levelling compound sealed the heating elements ready for the 60 x 60cm porcelain tiles and upturns.

During>

Design solutions: Kraftwork created a cantilevered basin unit clad with mitred porcelain from a 120cm tile slab. This gave the illusion of the unit being composed of solid marble without any edge trims. A contemporary wall hung toilet with concealed cistern was fitted. Plumbing access was designed into the units as well as hidden additional storage.

After>

Finishing solutions: The client chose a brave feature wallpaper and complimenting colour scheme,
adding to the WOW factor.

Testimonial: Our downstairs cloakroom, reclaimed from a former garage area was decidedly unspectacular, my brief was to re-create the room so it would have the same decorative impact as the rest of our characterful Victorian house. Graham really interpreted my brief well and matched my creativity in his suggestions.
